The term “ropes” is an expression that migrated from the European sexual underground to the U.S. and Canada and refers to heightened, stronger male orgasmic contractions. Popular Web-columnist and sexologist Nancy-Ann first introduced the expression when a reader sent her a letter explaining a lover’s new-found super “orgasmic” strength after he returned home from a recent overseas business trip. The woman who wrote the letter asked Nancy-Ann where the supplement that produced the results could be found; Nancy-Ann researched the product and found the only North American distributor of a twice-daily supplement called Serogen. Nancy-Ann wrote back the writer who inquired about Serogen’s availability in the States and gave out the company’s contact information. She then submitted the letter and her reply to a few popular adult magazines. Since the letter was published, it has become “lore” in the business and within two years spawned a cottage industry of male orgasm enhancement products.
SEROGEN – The original U.S and Canadian distributor of Serogen was a small import/export outfit called Somalab. The male sexual enhancement contains Cernate, Somalab’s own proprietary formula, which is basically an herbal, extract-based blend of “defined” Swedish flower pollen. In some areas of Europe, men have used “cernitin” pollen as a heavy-duty prostate strengthener for more than 12 years. Clinical studies and trials of the herb’s use on groups of men with inadequate semenal mobility or low sperm count as well as men with benign prostate problems show a marked improvement. But the men who were able to best break down and absorb defined pollen noticed another beneficial side effect: their ejaculate release was substantially more voluminous due to stronger, longer, and additional orgasmic contractions. Turns out, Cernate, in strengthening all muscles surrounding the prostate gland, causes powerful orgasms. More concisely, by working directly on the ejaculatory ducts and the vas deferens vessel, the key instrument in the entire ejaculation delivery mechanism (the vas deferens contracts and spasms in order to pump, expel, and release ejaculate), these men fortunate enough to discover Cernate coined a term that has now become almost commonplace in our lexicon to describe the heightened climatic experience: “The Ropes.”
Word spread like wildfire as more and more men were “learning the ropes” by purchasing and continually using Serogen a male orgasm enhancement.
After Nancy-Ann published the now-(in)famous letter about the benefits of increasing your ropes, men (and women) were calling and emailing Somalab to order Serogen. Somalab only had limited runs, and could not replenish Serogen fast enough to keep up with first-time orders, not to mention the high number or reorders. Somalab has since expanded its product runs to handle the demand of Serogen.
The success of the product has spawned numerous knock-off products. Many have copied Serogen, but its unique herbal amalgamation and its concentration strength have never been duplicated.
